Reduce your Intake and Pack on the Pounds!

A common mistake many make while trying to drop unwanted pounds is to NOT keep up the calorie count when increasing your activity, or just plain starving themselves.  Yes, you need to burn more calories than you consume, however, if you eat too few your body retaliates.

It takes more fuel to go faster farther!

I've run into SO many people who have told me "I've cut wayyyyy back on my eating and I'm not losing weight." - Then when they go back to normal eating they pack on the pounds quicker.

How can that be?

MUSCLE == METABOLISM


When the body doesn't get enough calories it goes into starvation mode which changes how the body processes what little food you are giving it.  The body begins to burn muscle for energy while packing on and saving the fat as a defense mechanism. As your muscle mass is reduced, so is your metabolism, your body begins packing on FAT and your energy levels drop.  Since your metabolism is slower, when you resume eating "normal" levels the body packs on fat. (It assumes you will not be able to eat again soon)  Thus your pants are too tight.



Now, your energy levels begin to to drop, your BUTT IS DRAGGIN, your eyes are drooping & you suck down a calorie laced energy drink to get through the day.

 Since your metabolism is slower, when you resume eating "normal" levels the body packs on fat. (It assumes you will not be able to eat again soon)  Thus your pants are too tight.

Fat weighs 2x as much as Muscle
